Welcome To GlueTube

Welcome to FineWoodworking.com's first-ever video blog. Based on the popular video file-sharing service YouTube, GlueTube is a place for woodworkers of every stripe to produce and share videos about the age-old craft we all love.

How it works...
To get your video featured on GlueTube, follow the directions on YouTube's Web site for creating a free account and uploading your video. UPDATE: Since our launch, a handful of other video-filing sharing sites have popped up on the Internet, including Howcast, Vimeo, Blip.tv, Brightcove.tv and Google Video.

Once your video is uploaded, send us a link along with a short write-up with the who, what, where, why and when. If we like it--and we like a lot of things--we'll feature your video here.

How to contribute...
Videos should be five minutes or less, and can focus on any aspect of woodworking from the how-to to the whiz bang. Film a video tour of your workshop, demonstrate a technique, show off your favorite jig, or discuss a recent project you've completed.

NOTE: We do not accept videos that feature copyrighted content, such as music, video clips, or photographs. We -- and you -- can be sued by the copyright holder for infringement. If you want to add music to your clips, you can find royalty-free music on the Web or record your own!

For more information about GlueTube or creating video contact FineWoodworking.com at fw@taunton.com.
